‘Imperial’ Circus of St. Petersburg starts performances in Yerevan
‘Imperial’ traveling circus of Saint Petersburg, Russia, will present its program on August 29 - October 4 in Yerevan, in the building of the former dolphinarium, the press service of Armenian Culture Ministry said.
The program is dedicated to the 80th birthday anniversary of Leonid Yengibarov, a prominent Soviet-era circus artist of Armenian descent.
“Imperial’ circus will offer an exciting program with the participation of artists of all circus genres, accompanied by live music, dances, and light and sound effects.
Trained animals, including lions, monkeys, camels, horses, ponies have been brought for the Yerevan shows.
The circus program is organized with the support of Armenian Ministry of Culture, Yerevan Municipality, and Russian Scientific and Cultural Center in Yerevan.
