Prominent Armenian businessman, philanthropist Vahakn Hovnanian passes away
Prominent Armenian businessman, public figure and philanthropist Vahakn Hovnanian has passed away. He was 83.
Vahakn Hovnanian was born in Kirkuk, Iraq. He earned his bachelor’s degree in physics from St. Joseph University of Philadelphia, U.S. Mr. Hovnanian became known for his patriotic and charitable initiatives.
He was sincerely proud of his Armenian heritage and endowed many years of his life to supporting the Armenian Diaspora.
Thanks to his talent as a businessman a range of successful companies were founded under the name of V.S. Hovnanian Group, Inc.
Vahakn Hovnanian was granted numerous awards and titles for his dedication and support to the Armenian people.
