Artsrun Hovhannisyan: Wounded Armenian soldiers out of danger
The Armenian servicemen who were wounded in Armenia’s Tavush province are now out of danger, Armenian Defense Ministry’s spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan told Panorama.am.
Late Tuesday, September 1 the Azerbaijani side continued to fire for several hours at Armenian border villages of Chinari and Aygepar in Tavush province. Two Armenian servicemen were wounded by Azerbaijani gunfire on their frontline position near Chinari village.
One of them was taken to Yerevan, and the other is in the hospital of Berd.
Chinari village administrator Samvel Saghoyan told Panorama.am there is no panic in the village, the school and kindergarten are operating as usual, and local residents are busy with their own affairs.
Aygepar village administrator Andranik Aydinyan said for his part that the situation in their village is relatively calm now.
