On 1 September President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan and President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan were present at the staging of Giuseppe Verdi’s "Requiem" opera held at the Stepanakert Revival Square, the press office of Artsakh President’s Office said.

President Sahakyan noted with satisfaction that staging of various operas in Artsakh with the participation of renowned stars became a good tradition and demonstrated that Artsakh had become one of the most significant regional cultural centers.

Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, Nagorno Karabakh Repiblic’ National Assembly chairman Ashot Ghoulyan, Prime Minister Arayik Haroutyunyan, high ranking officials from Artsakh and Armenia, representatives of the Diaspora and foreign guests attended the event.
