Open lessons on Armenian Genocide and Holocaust planned for Armenian schools
Open lessons on the subjects of the Armenian Genocide, the Holocaust, the Genocides in Rwanda and Darfur will be conducted in senior schools of Armenia in October and November, Armenian Education and Science Minister Armen Ashotyan said at a meeting with Israeli Ambassador to Armenia Shmuel Meirom.
The minister said he himself will conduct one of the lessons, during which the Holocaust will also be addressed.
During the meeting the sides also discussed the opportunities of implementing joint Armenian-Israeli programs in the spheres of education and science, the press service of Armenian Education and Science Ministry said.
