Defense Ministry of NKR: Azerbaijan fired over 1800 shots at Armenian positions
On September 3 and the night of September 4 Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire about 100 times on the line of contact between the armed forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan, the press service of Defense Ministry of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic reported.
Although ceasefire violations by Azerbaijan declined as compared with the past few days, the Azerbaijani side fired over 1,800 shots at Armenian positions from small arms and artillery weapons of various calibers as well as 60 mm and 82 mm mortars.
The frontline units of NKR Defense Army suppressed the activity of the enemy and continue to perform confidently their combat duties.
