Defense Ministry of Armenia: Ceasefire violations by Azerbaijani decline
Last night and on Saturday morning, September 5, the Azerbaijani side again violated the ceasefire in various sections of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border by using small arms, sniper weapons of various calibers, and mortars, the press service of Armenian Defense Ministry reports.
Azerbaijani troops opened indiscriminate fire at Armenian positions and border settlements in Tavush province of Armenia.
The number of ceasefire violations has declined compared to the past few days.
The Armenian frontline units mostly observed the ceasefire and took actions in response only in case of emergency to suppress the enemy’s activity.
The Armenian armed forces confidently control the situation along the border.
