Zhamanak: Vahakn Hovnanian’s last wish fulfilled
‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ newspaper says that the family of prominent philanthropist and businessman Vahakn Hovnanian has fulfilled his last wish. In his will, V. Hovnanian asked that a portion of his remains be laid to rest in Vahakni residential community in Armenia, and the other part be cremated and ashes be scattered at the foot of Mount Aragats. There is no crematorium in Armenia so V. Hovnanian’s body was cremated in Lebanon, then his ashes were brought to Armenia and the last wish of the deceased philanthropist was fulfilled.
