Non-work day in Armenia today
Monday, September 14, is a non-working day in Armenia by a decision taken at the government session on July 30.
The Armenian government decided to move the working day from Monday, September 14, to Saturday, September 19, 2015.
On Sunday, August 13, the Armenian Church celebrated the Exaltation of the Holy Cross—one of the five Cardinal Feasts of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The day following each Cardinal Feast is designated as a Memorial Day. On the Memorial Day, repose of souls services are offered in churches and people go to the cemetery to honor the memory of their departed ones.
