Signature collection starts in Armenian parliament for convocation of special sitting
Signature collection is underway in Armenian parliament to convene a special sitting of the National Assembly tomorrow, on February 18, the parliament speaker Galust Sahakyan said at the beginning of the sitting today.
The 8th session of the Armenian parliament of fifth convocation began on Tuesday, September 15. The parliament started its work with debates of the draft constitutional amendments presented by Vardan Poghosyan - the Armenian president’s official representative on constitutional reform issues in the parliament.
“We will not have enough time today to finish discussing the draft amendments to the Constitution of Armenia so signatures will be collected to call a special sitting,” Galust Sahakyan said.
