Armenian president visits Yerevan branch of Lomonosov Moscow State University
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan visited today, on September 18, the Yerevan branch of Moscow State University (MSU) after M. Lomonosov, the presidential press service reports.
The president was accompanied by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, Education and Science Minister Armen Ashotyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan, President of Armenia’s National Academy of Sciences Radik Martirosyan, Rector of MSU’s Yerevan branch Victor Sadovnichi, Russian Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Volynkin and officials of the MSU branch. He toured the educational institution, familiarizing himself with its activities and educational conditions.
The faculty of the Yerevan branch of Moscow State University includes highly qualified specialists from Moscow. 65 students study at the institution during the 2015-2016 academic year. They are enrolled in the following programs: applied mathematics and informatics, linguistics, international relations, law, and journalism.
