Faction of opposition Heritage Party intends to vote against draft constitutional amendments
The parliamentary faction of the opposition Heritage Party will vote against the draft amendments to the Constitution of Armenia, according to the press service of Heritage.
At the special sitting of the Armenian parliament yesterday, on September 18, Vardan Poghosyan - the main speaker, member of the Specialized Commission on Constitutional Reforms adjunct to Armenian President - proposed that the parliament hold a vote on the draft constitutional amendments at the next four-day sittings.
“The agenda issue is not the alleged reform of the Constitution, but a complete change of power and holding snap presidential and parliamentary elections,” the opposition faction said in a statement.
