Defense Ministry of NKR: Azerbaijan violated ceasefire 1000 times in past week
On September 13-19 the Azerbaijani side violated ceasefire about 1,000 times on the line of contact between the armed forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan, according to the press service of Defense Ministry of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic.
Over 16,000 shots were fired at Armenian positions over that period from small arms of various calibers, 60 mm, 82 mm and 120 mm mortars, and RPG-7 and AGS-17 grenade launchers. Besides, Azerbaijani troops used Turkish-made TR-107 rocket launchers.
The Azerbaijani side’s activity was suppressed after the Defense Army of NKR took reciprocal actions.
