Serzh Sargsyan attends opening of Writers’ Park after Levon Ananyan in Yerevan
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan attended today, on September 19, the opening ceremony of Opera Suite Hotel in Yerevan and Writers’ Park after Levon Ananyan in the adjacent area, the presidential press service reports.
The president toured the hotel built in line with international standards and familiarized himself with the investments, the created jobs , and the quality of available services.
Writers’ Park after Levon Ananyan has opened in the area adjacent to Opera Suite Hotel. The park was founded by the participants of the First International Poetry Festival held in Yerevan in April 2013. They planted trees symbolizing their states.
The park covering an area of 1,010 square meters has been completely reconstructed. Memorial plaques in honor of great Armenian poets Paruyr Sevak, Vahan Teryan and Avetik Isahakyan were unveiled in Writers’ Park.
