Hovik Abrahamyan attends Independence Day reception in Armenian embassy in China
A government delegation led by Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan arrived in Beijing for a working visit late September 21, according to the press service of Armenian government.
The delegation is composed of Armenia’s Transport and Communications Minister Gagik Beglaryan, Minister of Economy Karen Chshmarityan, First Deputy Minister – Head of Government Staff Gurgen Dumanyan, First Deputy Finance Minister Pavel Safaryan, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Manasaryan, Deputy Chairman of Central Bank of Armenia Nerses Yeritsyan, and other officials.
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan and delegation members on September 22 attended a festive reception hosted by the Armenian embassy in China. Among the attendees were heads of China-based diplomatic missions, various departments, and Armenian community members.
In the embassy, PM Abrahamyan had a face-to-face conversation with Vice Foreign Minister of China Cheng Guoping. The sides discussed a number of issues related to deepening and expansion of Armenian-Chinese cooperation.
Hovik Abrahamyan is scheduled to meet today Chinese Premier Li Keqiang.
