'Literary Arc international festival in Yerevan
On September 22-27, Yerevan will host the annual international festival Literary Ark that will bring together over 40 writes from 18 countries, including Armenian American writer Chris Bohjalian, Romanian writer and politician of Armenian decent Varuzhan Voskanian, Dutch author Joke van Leeuwen, Israeli poet Amir Or, Italian writer Claudio Pozzani, and others.
During the festival, the guests and Armenian writers will meet with readers, present their works, attend roundtables, and conduct master classes in Yerevan libraries. The festival guests will see the sights of Armenia.
By tradition, a multi-language collection of works by foreign writers about Armenia will be released following this year’s Literary Ark Festival.
The festival is organized by Armenian Society for Cultural Cooperation with Foreign Countries NGO, with the support of Culture Ministry of Armenia. The event was first held in 2001.
