Defense Ministry of NKR: Azerbaijani forces used Turkish-made TR-107 rocket launcher
Yesterday, on September 24, and on the night of September 25 Azerbaijani troops continued to actively violate the ceasefire along the line of contact between the armed forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan, according to the press service of Defense Ministry of Nagorno Karabakh Republic.
The Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire about 260 times over that period. Over 4,000 shots were fired by frontline Azerbaijani units at Armenian positions from small arms of various calibers, 60 mm and 82 mm mortars, RPG-7, AGS-17 and SPG-19 grenade launchers. The Azerbaijani forces also used Turkish-made TR-107 rocket launch system.
The enemy’s activity was suppressed as a result of measures taken in response by the frontline units of Defense Army of NKR.
“The frontline units of NKR Defense Army are in control of the operational situation and continue confidently performing their combat duties,” the statement says.
