Gagik Harutyunyan submits to president legal package of Armenian Genocide consequences elimination demands
During the 6th sitting today of the State Commission on Coordination of Events for the Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, the Chairman of Armenia’s Constitutional Court Gagik Harutyunyan submitted to the Armenian president a package of legal demands for elimination of the consequences of the Armenian Genocide, G. Harutyunyan told reporters today.
In his words, in June a scientific-analytical center was set up at the Council of the Pan-Armenian Conference of Lawyers. The center lawyers developed a relevant package, which was submitted to the president today.
The package is not subject to disclosure now, Harutyunyan said. Discussion will be held on November 20-21, and then the public will be given details.
“It is necessary to carry out long work for many years in various directions,” he added.
