Hraparak: Hrazdan thermal power plant to be sold in next few months
‘Hraparak’ paper writes that Hrazdan thermal power plant that belongs to Inter RAO – the owner of Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) Company – will be sold within the next few months. The press service of Nasdaq OMX Armenia reported that Hrazdan thermal plant has already been removed from the list of the stock exchange at its own request, noting that the first step was already taken. Being listed on the stock exchange, the company had to file a number of statements making its activities transparent.
In that case, an auction shall be held to sell Hrazdan thermal power plant, during which the best offer will be selected. This is not to Inter RAO’s advantage because, according to our information, the potential buyer is already known. To remind, Inter RAO is going to sell 100% of the ENA’s shares to an offshore company.
