Tests to be conducted to assess damage to Armenian farmers by Azerbaijani bombardment
On September 24, 2015 significant material damage was inflicted on peasants and community property as a result of bombardment of border areas of Armenia’s Tavush region from the combat positions of Azerbaijan by using artillery weapons and mortars, the press service of Armenia’ s Investigative Committee said.
Thus, due to targeted bombardment from Azerbaijani combat position, the buildings of “Aesthetic Center” and the musical school of Berdavan community in Tavush region suffered significant damage.
The residents of Berdavan, Aygehovit and Paravaqar villages sustained significant losses. Bombardment caused damage to farmers’ houses, property, and orchards. Tests will be conducted by commodity experts to assess the extent of property damage.
During inspections conducted as part of the investigation, fractures of ammunition and mines were found and sent for ballistic tests.
