Haykakan Zhamanak: Orinats Yerkir Party intends to express its position on vote day
Orinats Yerkir (OEK) is the only parliamentary party whose stance on the constitutional reform in Armenia is not yet known. Republican Party of Armenia, Prosperous Armenia Party, and ARF-Dashnaktsutyun support the reform, while Heritage Party and Armenian National Congress are opposed to it, although some members of those two factions are going to speak in favor of the draft constitutional amendments.
“Our position will become known prior to the vote. We will express it on that day,” OEK’s spokesman Arthur Misakyan told ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ newspaper.
