Haykakan Zhamanak: Rosneft may be engaged in Electric Networks of Armenia sale
‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ daily writes that Russian oil company Rosneft may be engaged in the sale of Electric Networks of Armenia Company. As is known, Liormand Holding, an offshore company, filed an application to buy ENA. Liormand Holding Limited was founded by the offshore company Turva Management, which was founded by another offshore company, Marquardt Trust Limited.
The newspaper says that one of the co-founders of the latter is Hans-Joerg Rudloff, a member of Rosnfeft’s board of directors from 2013 until 2016. According to the Financial Times, he is considered the most trustworthy “western banker” by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Another co-founder is a member of Fora-Bank’s board of directors. Fora-Bank is part of Tashir Group owned by by Russian-Armenian businessman Samvel Karapetyan.
