Defense minister of Armenia, CSTO Sec-Gen discuss situation on Armenia-Azerbaijan border and line of contact
Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan met today with Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Nikolai Bordyuzha, Armenian Defense Ministry said.
At the request of N. Bordyuzha, Seyran Ohanyan spoke about the present situation on Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the line of contact between the armed forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan.
The sides discussed agenda issues of CSTO and CSTO’s actions in the sphere of defense during Armenia’s presidency of CSTO.
During his visit the CSTO secretary-general will meet with top leaders of Armenia and attend the official events held as part of the active phase of ‘Unbreakable Brotherhood 2015’ drills of CSTO peacekeeping forces.
‘Unbreakable Brotherhood 2015’ 5-day military drills are being conducted at Bagramyan training ground of the Armenian armed forces. Armenia, currently holding presidency of CSTO, pays special attention to the development of CSTO’s peacekeeping component.
