MOD of NKR: Defense Army halts offensive actions of Azerbaijani troops
On October 2 and the night of October 3 the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire about 130 times on the line of contact between the armed forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan, the press service of Defense Ministry of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic said.
During the indicated period Azerbaijani frontline units fired over 2,000 shots at Armenian positions from small arms of various calibers, 60mm (107 shells) and 82mm (16 shells) mortars, and AGS-17 grenade launchers (70 shells).
The offensive actions of Azerbaijani troops were halted following prompt actions taken by frontline units of NKR Defense Army.
