Speaker of Armenian parliament offers condolences on death of football player H. Zanazanyan
Speaker of the Armenian parliament Galust Sahakyan today expressed his condolences on the death of famous Armenian football player Hovhannes Zanazanyan, according to the press service of the Armenian parliament.
“I was deeply pained to hear about the passing of one of the legends of Armenian football Hovhannes Zanazanyan, a longtime captain of Ararat Yerevan team.
We have lost one of the most charismatic, talented and respectable players of our football and Ararat-73 team,” the speaker said.
“H. Zanazanyan became a symbol of national sports and the golden age of our football that brought positive energy to sports fans of various ages. I express my deep condolences to the family, friends and fans of H. Zanazanyan and share their grief”, Galust Sahakyan said.
