Temperatures expected to drop below zero in Armenia
The first autumn frosts are expected in mountainous regions of Armenia on the night of October 11, the deputy chief of the weather service of Armenian Ministry of Territorial Administration Gagik Surenyan told a press conference today.
In his words, frosts can be expected in Shirak, Aragatsotn, Gegharkunik, Lori and Kotayk provinces where temperatures are likely to drop to minus 3 degrees.
The weatherman said that precipitation will stop in Armenia on October 10, while skies will clear out, with temperatures declining by 4-5 degrees.
The Ararat Valley is unlikely to be affected by frosts, he said.
