Defense Ministry of Karabakh: Defense Army halts offensive operations of Azerbaijani troops
On October 12 and the night of October 13 the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire about 150 times on the line of contact between the armed forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan, according to the press service of Defense Ministry of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic.
During the indicated period Azerbaijani frontline units fired over 2,500 shots at Armenian positions by using small arms of various calibers and 60 mm (13 shells) and 82mm (17 shells) mortars.
The offensive operations of Azerbaijani troops were halted as a result of actions taken in response by frontline units of NKR Defense Army.
