International conference ‘Armenian Genocide-100: From Recognition to Reparation’ starts in Yerevan
The international scientific conference ‘The Armenian Genocide -100: From Recognition to Reparation’ started at the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia today, on October 15.
The conference participants will discuss the following problems: the Armenian Genocide: history, theory, memory, geopolitics; legal, political and sociopolitical problems of reparation and elimination of the genocide consequences; reflection of the Armenian Genocide in literature and the arts; cultural genocide.
The conference has been organized by the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia and Yerevan State University.
The event brought together over 100 participants from Armenia, Germany, the U.S., Austria, Russia, Australia, Ukraine, Canada, Poland, and Hungary.
