NSS of Armenia astonished by illiteracy of Azerbaijan’s propagandists and feebleness of secret services
The Azerbaijani secret services are even unable to find a person who has a good command of Armenian so as not to cast doubt on authenticity of the letter which they allegedly obtained, ascribing its authorship to the head of Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) Gorik Hakobyan, NSS said in a statement.
According to the statement, on October 16 the Azerbaijani website www.faktxeber.com released yet another semiliterate, unsuccessful provocative report.
“This time the anti-Armenian propaganda of Azerbaijan organized a ‘sensational’ information hoax by saying that the secret services allegedly obtained and published an official letter of Head of Armenian NSS Col. Gen. Gorik Hakobyan to Head of National Security Service of Nagorno Karabakh Republic (NKR) Lt. Gen. Arshavir Gharamyan.
Even a brief examination of the fake letter reveals the lack of intellect and illiteracy of its authors. First, the wording ‘Head of NSS of NKR’ is incorrect in an official letter (the correct form is Director of NSS of NKR).
The letter full of spelling and syntactic mistakes and discrepant dates in particular says that numerous ceasefire violations along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, military casualties, and gunfire opened on civilians and civilian buildings have caused panic, due to which residents of border villages are abandoning their settlements. Given the unhealthy atmosphere in the region, the head of Armenia’s NSS allegedly ‘orders’ the head of NSS of NKR to do explanatory work with the population and hold liable those who spread panic.
It is obvious to Armenian citizens that the information spread by Azerbaijani propaganda machine about panic or emigration is not true. Quite the opposite – the recent aggressive actions of the enemy united our citizens even more and strengthened their desire to protect their country.
By writing such a letter, Azerbaijan’s propaganda machine took the wish for the reality and misled their own citizens. In an attempt to boast about their ability to get correspondence of the enemy’s secret services and publish it, they failed to write a letter without spelling mistakes so that the reader could not question the letter’s authenticity.
Azerbaijan’s secret services are unable to find a person who has a good command of Armenian. It is nonsensical that the chief of NSS of Armenia gives orders to the head of a secret service of an independent state.
