NKR Foreign Minister receives ICRC Regional Director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia
On October 19, Foreign Minister of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Karen Mirzoyan received the Regional Director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Patrick Vial, according to the press service of NKR MFA.
During the meeting, the sides discussed a range of issues related to the ICRC programs implemented in the NKR, in particular, the works aimed at uncovering the fate of the missing persons.
Karen Mirzoyan also touched upon the fate of the NKR citizens in the Azerbaijani captivity, underlining the inadmissibility of continuous violation of international humanitarian law in relation to them.
Head of the ICRC Mission in Nagorno Karabakh Dragoslav Blazevic was also present at the meeting.
