The campaign headquarters of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) will hold a regular sitting on October 24 to clarify the tactics of RPA’s campaign ahead of the constitutional reform referendum due in the winter, the head of the party’s parliamentary faction Vahram Baghdasaryan told Panorama.am.
“The headquarters already conducted two sittings. During the third sitting on Saturday, the participants will clarify the tactics of RPA, determine who will implement different parts of the work, and appoint the person responsible for the campaign. We will also discuss activities of regional campaign offices. Our tactics will already be known on October 26,” the MP said.
According to him, as part of RPA’s propaganda campaign, regional meetings will take place with the participation of MPs elected from those districts – ‘in order to present provisions of the draft amendments to the Constitution of Armenia”.
Baghdasaryan said that Armenian President, RPA Chairman Serzh Sargsyan will specify the format of his participation in the campaign after he returns from Spain, but the issue has not yet been discussed by the party.
