Zhoghovurd: Wife of minister richer than husband
Mary Yeritsyan, the wife of Armenian minister of territorial administration and emergency situations Armen Yeritsyan, is richer than her husband, according to ‘Zhoghovurd’ paper.
The minister had 24.5 million drams at the end of last year, according to an official declaration filed by him. He receives an annual pension of 3 million 401 thousand drams, in addition to a monthly salary is 514,000 drams. His wife’s funds amounted to 90 million 80 thousand drams in late 2014. It is noteworthy that Mrs. Yeritsyan has no job. “One is tempted to ask the question: How did the minister’s wife amass such a fortune while not working,” the paper notes.
