8th Return Classical Music Festival: Nairi string quintet and Anna Mailyan to perform in Yerevan
A second concert as part the 8th ‘Return’ Classical Music Festival is scheduled to take place today at Komitas Chamber Music House in Yerevan. The concert will feature ‘Nairi’ string quintet (France) and mezzo soprano Anna Mailyan.
Works by B. Britten, O. Respighi, and Komitas will be performed at the concert, in which Levon Tevanyan and Movses Khalatyan will also participate, according to the festival organizers.
The 8th Return Classical Music Festival commemorating the Armenian Genocide Centennial is being held October 19 to November 7 under the auspices of Armenia’s First Lady Rita Sargsyan, with the support of Armenian Culture Ministry. The event is sponsored by general partner VivaCell-MTS.
