Serzh Sargsyan receives group of US qualified doctors on visit to Armenia
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received yesterday, on October 23, a group of qualified specialists from Glendale Adventist Medical Center who have arrived in Armenia from the U.S. As part of their mission, the doctors are currently providing medical aid to the population in border Tavush Marz, and sharing their skills with the medical personnel of Noyemberyan Medical Center, according to the presidential press service.
The mission is being carried out with the support of Hayastan All Armenian Fund and owing to the cooperation between Glendale Adventist Medical Center and the RA Ministry of Healthcare.
At the meeting, the president of the medical center, Kevin Roberts, presented the activities of Glendale Adventist and the goal of the Armenian mission, stressing that they want to establish a long-term and strong ties with Noyemberyan and promote further cooperation.
President Serzh Sargsyan spoke highly of the activities carried out by the U.S. doctors in our country who apart from our compatriots, include doctors of other nationalities that treat their professional mission with huge responsibility and, together with Armenian doctors, are carrying out their pious humane deed in one of Armenia’s border communities. The president thanked the specialists of Glendale Adventist Medical Center and wished them success.
