FM Nalbandyan draws attention of OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs to flagrant ceasefire violations by Azerbaijan
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan received today the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs. At the meeting the sides continued discussions aimed at promoting a peaceful settlement to the Karabakh conflict, Armenian Foreign Ministry said.
E. Nalbandyan drew the attention of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs to the fact that despite two statements issued by the Co-chairs over the last month, Azerbaijan is continuing to commit flagrant violations of the ceasefire on the border with Armenia and along the line of contact with Artsakh.
“Azerbaijan’s provocations are accompanied by belligerent statements and threats against Baku uttered at the highest level, as well as by propaganda of hatred and enmity. Azerbaijan rejected the public targeted call of the Co-Chairs to set up incident investigation mechanisms, which shows that Baku wants to foil efforts of Armenia and the Co-chairs towards a peaceful resolution of the Karabakh problem,” the foreign minister stressed.
