In this connection, reporters asked V. Baghdasaryan today why people who have administrative levers were included in the campaign office of ‘Yes’ front. Baghdasaryan replied that it was done, taking into account their experience as organizers.
“Yesterday the office members met with heads of Armenian regions, and a meeting with MPs elected under a majoritarian system is due today,” he added.
“Whoever is included in the campaign office, those people have held some position or other, and in any event you would say that they are using their administrative resources. We do not aim to use administrative resource. We are engaged in organizational activities,” V. Baghdasaryan told reporters.
He added: “If people holding secondary positions were included in our office, reporters would say that Republican Party of Armenia does take the referendum seriously, but when first persons of RPA act as members of its campaign office, you ask us why we do so. We stress the importance of the constitutional reform and should organize everything in such a way that no aspect will remain vulnerable – the international community is following this process”.y why people who have administrative levers were included in the campaign office of ‘Yes’ front.
