Hraparak: Arpine Hovhannisyan steers clear of ID card law discussions
‘Hraparak’ paper writes that no government representative attended the parliamentary debates of the law on ID cards. Last Friday, prior to the inclusion of the issue in the agenda, Justice Minister Arpine Hovhannisyan was the government’s reporter during the sitting of the parliamentary standing committee on state and legal affairs as the law falls within the competence of that ministry.
“The government prevented her from attending debates so as not to involve her in those issues, to keep her away, and the ‘dirt’ of ID cards matter will remain on Hovik Sahakyan,” the paper says.
