President Sargsyan attends reconsecration ceremony of Surb Gevorg Cathedral in Tbilisi
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and First Lady Rita Sargsyan attended today, on October 31, the reconsecration ceremony of Surb Gevorg Cathedral of Georgian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the presidential press service reports.
The ceremony participants included Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, Primate of the Georgian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan, donors of the cathedral reconstruction project, and numerous guests.
Former Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili was also present at the ceremony.
