Armenian president, Georgian prime minister discuss infrastructure projects in Tbilisi
During his working visit to Georgia, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on October 30 in Tbilisi, the presidential press service said.
The sides noted with satisfaction that the interstate contacts create serious preconditions for outlining new directions of the partnership between Armenia and Georgia.
The interlocutors stressed the significance of implementing infrastructure development projects of regional importance, including energy projects, which they said will help significantly strengthen the bilateral economic links and increase the trade turnover.
When discussing the integration processes with the participation of the two countries, the Armenian president and the Georgian premier indicated their complementary character and the importance of the infrastructure projects’ interconnection.
