Gallup International poll asks Armenian citizens about country they wish to unify with
During a poll conducted by Gallup International Association (GIA) among 1,105 respondents on October 10-21 in Armenia, citizens were asked the question “Are you satisfied with your life?” 45.3% of the respondents said they are rather satisfied, while 29.9% said they are somewhat unsatisfied, Head of GIA Armenia Office Aram Navasardyan told a press conference today.
When asked to assess the economic situation in Armenia, 1.8% of the respondents assessed it as good, 24.3% as average, 33.8% as bad, and 39.1% as very bad.
54.4% of respondents said the unification with Russia would be a correct move, 29.9% said Armenia does need to unify with any country, and 11.1% said they wish integration with the EU. Some respondents indicated the U.S., Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, and even Turkey.
