UAR offers condolences on fatal crash of bus en route from Moscow to Yerevan
The Union of Armenians of Russia (UAR) has offered condolences on the tragic road accident that occurred early Tuesday in Russia’s Tula region. The statement of UAR is available at the Union’s website.
“The Union of Armenians of Russia is in deep mourning after the November 3 road accident in Tula region, at 220th km of ‘Don’ interstate highway that killed and severely injured dozens of passengers of a bus en route from Moscow to Yerevan.
In parallel with examination of the accident circumstances, a group of UAR is working at the crash site, with its activities being coordinated by UAR President Ara Abrahamyan who arrived in the city of Uzlowaya in Tula region.
UAR in close cooperation with employees of Russian state bodies and the Armenian embassy in Russia is taking all the necessary measures to help the victims and their relatives. In particular, the Union got in touch with relatives of those killed in the crash to assist in moving the bodies to the homeland and providing quality medical aid to the injured. The remaining passengers were accommodated at a hotel and will be sent to Armenia.
We thanks all those who expressed their solidarity at this difficult time and do their best so that our compatriots will not feel lonely after the terrible tragedy.
