GDCA: No emergencies reported at Yerevan’s Zvartnots Airport
No emergencies have been reported at Zvartnots Airport of Yerevan on November 4, in October, and early November, a spokesman for Armenia’s General Department of Civil Aviation (GDCA), Ruben Grdzelyan, wrote on Facebook.
According to him, а Vienna-bound flight from Yerevan was delayed for several hours on November 4 after a crack was discovered in a passenger window of the plane, although that incident cannot be considered an ‘emergency’, the spokesman wrote. According to him, dozens of flights are delayed and cancelled every minute across the world, which happens due to easy to solve problems, rather than extreme emergencies.
