10 people injured in bus crash at Tula seek medical aid at Yerevan’s Surb Grigor Lusavorich medical center
Ten people injured in the crash of a passenger bus near Tula, Russia, while en route from Moscow to Yerevan, sought medical aid at Surb Grigor Lusavorich (Saint Gregory the Illuminator) Medical Center of Yerevan as of 8:20 am Friday, according to the press service of Armenian Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations.
A plane of Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived in Armenia yesterday, on November 5, bringing those injured in the bus crash and the bodies of the victims. The injured were accompanied by Russian doctors. They were met by their relatives and friends at the airport.
8 injured persons were transported from the airport to Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center in Yerevan. Three of them suffered spine injuries in the bus crash at Tula and were transported in a resuscitation ambulance van. Another 12 victims are receiving treatment in medical institutions of Tula.
The bus crash happened at 2:12 am Moscow time on Tuesday, November 3 in Russia’s Tula region. The bus was carrying 60 people, all of them Armenian citizens. The crash left 8 people dead and 46 others injured.
