Zhamanak: ‘Prodigal sons’ return to Prosperous Armenia Party
Member of Prosperous Armenia Party’s (PAP) parliamentary faction Araik Aghababyan who quit PAP after the party’s extraordinary congress on March 5 filed yesterday an application for joining the party again, according to ‘Zhamanak’ paper.
The paper writes that other MPs and village administrators who quit PAP may soon submit applications to become that party’s members again.
“PAP leaders have doubts regarding some of the MPs, but the applications of the village heads are likely to be granted,” the newspaper says.
