Armenia only CIS country where deflation reported since early 2015
There was a 2% reduction in prices in Armenia in the first nine months of 2015, while inflation has been reported in other countries of the CIS, Gurgen Martirosyan, Head of Price Statistics Department of Armenia’s National Statistical Service, said at a press conference today.
According to statistical data, Ukraine was the CIS country with the highest level of inflation – 41.4%, followed by Russia – 10.4%, Belarus – 9.2%, and Kazakhstan – 2.9%. 0.2% inflation was reported in EU countries since the beginning of the year.
