Defense minister of Armenia calls for joint efforts in fight against terrorism
The Armenian people stand by the people of France at this difficult time, Defense Minister of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan told reporters today. He condemned the monstrous terror attacks committed in Paris last evening.
According to S. Ohanyan, France has always supported the Armenian people and it gave refuge to survivors of the 1915 Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire. The current relations between Armenia and France are at a high level, he said.
“The Armenian people stand by the French people at this difficult time. We condemn the terror attacks and believe that the international community should join efforts in the fight against terrorism,” the defense minister said.
