Zhamanak: ANC does not rule out cooperation with OEK Party
Members of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) have always tried to keep away from Orinats Yerkir Party (OEK), but the head of ANC parliamentary faction Levon Zurabyan yesterday said in an interview that cooperation with OEK is possible ahead of the referendum on the constitutional reform in Armenia, ‘Zhamanak’ paper writes. Zurabyan at the same time ruled out the possibility of cooperating with Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), noting that they mistrust PAP after the February 12 events.
“As long as ANC received financial assistance from PAP, it mistrusted OEK and ruled out cooperation with that party. Now the opposite has happened. Yet it does not mean that ANC began receiving financing from OEK – if it was financed , Levon Zuarbyan would now make a declaration of love to OEK leader Arthur Baghdasaryan,” the paper says.
