Piotr Switalski: EU supports OSCE Minsk Group activities
The European Union has a clear stand on the Karabakh conflict settlement, Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia Ambassador Piotr Switalski told reporters in Yerevan today. The EU supports the activities of the OSCE Minsk Group and its Co-chairs, he said.
“We condemn the use of violence and call on the sides to conduct a dialog and find a peaceful resolution. The EU hopes that a resolution to the Karabakh problem will be achieved soon, and this will open new economic opportunities for both Armenia and Azerbaijan,” Ambassador Switalksi said.
In his words, the EU is prepared to make a contribution to the confidence building process.
