Avetisyan family murder case with indictment sent to Armenian Prosecutor’s Office
The case of the Avetisyan family murder in Gyumri along with an indictment has been filed to Armenian Prosecutor General’s Office, the press service of Prosecutor’s Office said.
The prosecutor shall familiarize himself with the indictment within 5 days and then send the case to court. The representatives of the aggrieved party’s legal successors (relatives of the Avetisyans were recognized their legal successors) have not yet submitted any petitions.
To remind, on August 12 a Russian military court held a trial in Gyumri, Armenia. The court sentenced Valery Permyakov, a conscript of the Russian 102nd military base in Armenia who was charged with murder of the Avetisyan family in Gyumri, to 10 years in high security prison for desertion and theft of weapons. The murder case will be heard by an Armenian court.
