G. Minasyan: Possible negative tendencies in region and world taken into account in drafting 2016 state budget
The 2016 state budget of Armenia has been drafted, taking into account the tendencies that do not contribute to positive development of regional and global realities, MP of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), head of the parliamentary standing committee on financial, credit and budget affairs Gagik Minasyan said at a press conference today.
According to him, political factors which are difficult to predict, rather than economic and financial factors predictable to some extent, form a basis of those tendencies.
All these problems were taken into consideration while drafting the state budget of Armenia, Minasyan noted.
“By the state budget for 2016, real GDP growth is forecast at 2.2%, inflation - at 4 plus minus 1.5%, and the budget deficit is planned at 3.5%”, G. Minasyan said.
On October 1 the Armenian government adopted the draft state budget for 2016, according to which budget revenues and expenditures will amount to 1.183 billion drams and 1.373.8 billion drams respectively, and the deficit is planned at 190.7 million drams.
